ARA was built in 1987 on the rock solid foundations of our commitment to quality and caring about everyone we work with. That’s why, almost four decades later, we’re still working with the same clients and employees.

The talented people on our team thrive on solving problems and overcoming challenges. We give them all of the space, tools and training they need to grow and flourish, both personally and professionally. For this reason, employee retention is extremely high. At ARA, we embrace diversity and all of the benefits and different perspectives it brings. From beginnings in supermarket fixturing and minor remodelling, ARA has evolved into a contractor handling projects projects up to 400,000 sq. ft. Our comprehensive portfolio spans everything from rollouts and minor remodels to major remodels and large ground-up construction. On every single project, we work hand with our clients to understand their needs and come up with cost-effective, customized, innovative solutions that constantly exceed their expectations.

We don’t just build; we build relationships that last, that have seen us working with the same major clients since day one, growing a client list that now includes many of the worlds largest retail and distribution companies.

Working as a team

When we became incorporated in 1987, our first projects were fixturing for Ahold, a company that we’re still proud to work with to this very day. Throughout our growth and evolution from fixturing to ground-up construction, the same care, diligence and dedication we give to every project means our clients see us as their construction partners, not just their providers.
